Line Up announcement for Hope!

Greetings!

We challenged you to lift our spirits with your best hopeful, forward looking stories and poems to benefit Action Against Hunger and you absolutely delivered. As usual, we were blown away by so many incredible submissions from all genres.

What we have collected for you for our TENTH collection feels pretty special. We are so pleased to present you with the line up for Hope.

How we got here!

We began in November with a call for submissions to writers to help us create the collection.

Our editorial team consisted of three curators and seven additional editors, all of whom were absolutely integral to the success of this project.

From November until early January, we worked with the authors to, edit, and judge. As with our previous collections, we paired every interested writer with an editor, who worked with them to create the strongest piece they could. The editor scored the final piece from 1 to 10, and passed it on to a second scorer from the curators team. The sum of the two scores became the piece’s final score.

As always, we were utterly blown away by the quality of the submissions to this collection! So many delivered wonderful and innovative ideas from across the genres.

We want to thank the #tldrwriters community for your stories and support while we curated a fantastic line up of new voices. This collection is the work of hundreds of hours, and we can’t wait to share it with the world.

Thank you to our contributing writers for this edition and their works:

All proceeds for this collection will benefit Action Against Hunger, an international charity committed to saving the lives of malnourished children and supporting their families to beat hunger. For more than 40 years, they have led the global movement that aims to end life-threatening hunger for good within our lifetimes. Their teams are on the front lines, treating and preventing malnutrition in some of the world’s most remote places. They empower people to provide for themselves, see their children grow up strong, and help their communities prosper.

Congratulations to the accepted writers! If you’d like to congratulate them as well, please join in the celebrations on Twitter!
