History of TL;DR Press

TL;DR Press formed when two worlds collided in August 2017. Reddit forum users from the subreddit r/writing decided to share Twitter handles, and the hashtag #redditwriters was born. Connections sparked between hundreds of writers, and a project took shape; an anthology of short stories from up-and-coming writers – TL;DR: A Redditwriters Mixtape Vol. 1.

The Mixtape was published in ebook and paperback in March 2018, and was the first anthology from the press, featuring 31 genre-spanning short works from 26 #redditwriters. The decision to publish the collection for charity was an easy one, and began the Press’ charitable tradition that continues today.

Since then, TL;DR Press resolved to continue to make our collections a force for good; funding charities and providing an inclusive platform for online writers to develop their skills and publish their work.
