Welcome to TL;DR Press
Too Long; Didn’t Read (TL;DR): A group of writers from Reddit met on Twitter and formed a publishing collective for charity, with one anthology already published.
Founded by #redditwriters.
In August of 2017, a single post on Reddit sparked a movement. Writers from all over the world, searching for an open and collaborative forum, began connecting and tweeting using #redditwriters. A supportive community has since assembled that provides encouragement and assistance to new voices, and came together to create a collection of short works. In March 2018, the anthology TL;DR: A #Redditwriters Mixtape Vol. 1 was published by Joe Butler with the help of a dedicated team of editors including: David Clark, Camden M. Collins, Ellie Raine, and Alexander Hamilton. It includes 31 genre-spanning short stories and poetry from 26 #redditwriters and is available in ebook and paperback now!
As the community grew on Twitter, a small group of #redditwriters chose to continue the mission of the published anthology to form a publishing collective, and TL;DR Press was born.
Biographies and photos will be published soon of our fantastic group of curators, editors, community-makers, and bloggers (hi!), but for now here’s a quick list of who makes up TL;DR Press: Joe Butler (@writelikeashark), David Clark (@selfpluspen), Callum Colback (@CColback), Camden M. Collins (@CamdenMCollins), Andrew Curis (@Farfelnugens), Alex Hareland (@alexhareland), Sarah Linders (@VelociSarah), Brad McNaughton (@BradMWriter), Penfold (@justpenfold), and Lila Vasudevan (@lilastories).
An emerging writers’ publishing collective.
TL;DR Press publishes quarterly and annual anthologies that showcase diverse, emerging writers. We aim to release, promote, and develop talented emerging writers, inclusive of all backgrounds, voices, and viewpoints. Each anthology has a theme and submissions are open year-round as each quarter rolls around.
Find out which anthology is open for submissions on our blog and check out our library of collections here.
Funding charity.
The members of TL;DR Press aim to make our anthologies a force for good by funding charities and providing an inclusive platform for online writers to develop their skills and publish their work.
The proceeds from each publication are donated to a designated charity. We worked with Doctors Without Borders for our first anthology and we will soon release the news about our next partnered charity!

One Last Thing:
TL;DR Press is just beginning its mission of publishing fantastic new talent and making the world a better place through charity, and we’re a small team. Without the larger #redditwriters community, we’d never get off the ground! Thank you from the team at TL;DR Press to everyone that has contributed their time, their talent, and their hard-earned cash (buy our book!) to make this a reality.
